After visiting Moree to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Freedom Rides, Machteld Hali worked closely with Mayor Katrina Humphries to develop a scholarship to assist a Moree Kamilaroi student to study at the University of NSW.

As one of the original freedom riders and a professional artist, Machteld volunteered to run print making workshops for Moree artists to learn new skills. The artists have generously donated some of their finished prints to be sold to raise money for the Moree Freedom Ride Scholarship.

All works are for sale at $200 and under, with funds raised used to establish the Moree Freedom Ride Scholarship.

Join us on Friday 6 July for the official opening and your chance to contribute to this great cause.

We hope to see you there.
