Margaret Adams: Meei Dreaming

A retrospective of the life and work

Over 25 years since the artist's first exhibition at BAMM, this exhibition is a retrospective of the career of nationally and internationally renowned Moree Gomeroi artist Margaret Adams, affectionately known as Aunty Marg, who passed away in June 2021.

A founding artist of Yurundiali Aboriginal Corporation and finalist in the Parliament of NSW Indigenous Art Prize, her works have featured in many local, national and international exhibitions, including Heartdreams and Legends, which toured to the USA in 2002. This exhibition serves to acknowledge and celebrate the life and career of the artist.

In collaboration with the artist's family, the exhibition showcases over 70 works from private and public collections including the Art Gallery of NSW and State Parliament of NSW.

Opening Night: 6pm, Fri 14 Oct. Free, all welcome.
